2015 Ski Season is Here

We have finally got some snow, and what looks like a stretch of cold weather. The trails have mostly been groomed, but snow coverage is still light and there some wet spots that are preventing us from grooming some of our new trails.

We’ve added about 4km of new, wooded trails to the system, which means we will have better, more protected trails for you to ski on. At the same time, we are going to eliminate some of our open field trails that we groomed last year that were contionuously drifted over and windy to be on. New trails maps will be going up soon.

We also have some changes in that we will not have a full time employee at the centre. We are now a 100% volunteer run organization, although we hope to have someone working at the centre on weekends in the near future.

In the meantime, buy a trail pass and support your centre. This helps pay for the cost of our equipment and gas, without which there would be no trail!

I might have missed this, but would like to know if the trails are open on Saturdays and Sundays (days and evenings) starting weekend of Jan. 9/10.

Liz, the trails are open 24/7 and accessible if you purchase a trail pass. We will be opening the lodge on weekends for rentals and day passes as soon as we get a part time staff member setup – hopefully this weekend coming. Check back here or our Facebook page for updates.
