  • Ski Purchase Program

We have had many people in the centre this year asking if they can buy skis, and while we haven’t been able to say yes this year, we put in place a plan to help people get skis next year.

The Valley Outdoor Centre is a Rossignol dealer. We can now pre-order equipment for next year, which will be shipped in the fall. We are going to offer a limited number of ski packages to our members at a very competitive price if we can place the order before March 1st, 2021.

You can browse the packages we have on offer here. All of our prices are fully inclusive of all applicable taxes.

And you can place an order by completing the order form, and e-mailing to info@valleyoutdoor.ca, or dropping it off at the centre during operating hours.

We are not a retail outlet, and are run by volunteers, and as such there will be no returns or exchanges. If you are unsure of size, please come into the lodge and try on a pair of rental boots. Sizing charts are available at the end of the document linked to above.

We will be requiring that all orders are accompanied by a 50% deposit, and that you pre-purchase your membership for the Valley Outdoor Centre for Winter 2021/2022 at the same rates as this year. An invoice for the order will be e-mailed to you for payment online after you submit your order.

If you have questions about equipment, please e-mail us at info@valleyoutdoor.ca

  • Family Day

We will be open on Family Day from 10am to 4pm. Hope everyone enjoys the day off with a nice ski or snowshoe!

  • 2020/2021 Season

A short update heading into winter.

The Valley Outdoor Centre will be fully operational this winter.

As of result of previous thefts of our grooming equipment and damage to our centre, we made the decision to relocate our facility. We are now located at 43 Rim Road, just past Wiebe’s Home Hardware. This location, adjacent to the Brunway depot, offers higher visibility due to Brunway’s 24/7 operations throughout the winter months. We have installed solar panels, and lighting to keep our facility illuminated after dark.

We are just in the process of finalizing our new trails to connect this new location to our old trail system (it’s about 500m to connect them), and will open for season passes shortly. Thanks to our insurance, the provincial Trail Infrastructure Fund and some generous private donations, we have been able to purchase a grooming machine for the winter.

We intend to be open on weekends for rental ski and snowshoe equipment, and to once again host our popular mid-week night skiing. We intend to keep our trails regularly groomed through a combination of volunteers and paid staff to make the winter experience as enjoyable as possible.Looking forward to a good winter ski season, and thanks for everyone’s support!
